Hematite is a nice alternative to black onyx with a super shiny almost metallic finish and is also said to have a calming effect and a grounding energy.
To make this ring I forged a strip of sterling silver wire into a band, which I hammered for extra texture and shine. I then made a bezel setting and soldered on top the ring. Finally I set this beautiful piece of Hematite before giving the piece a final polish. This is a beautiful piece which can be worn by itself, or with plain bands either side.
